Que. What is the full form of q r c in mechanical engineering?

Answer of the above question is as follows:-

QRC = Quick Release Coupling / Quick Relief Coupling.

What is the full form of q r c in mechanical engineering?
QRC full form

In mechanical engineering the term QRC that is quick release coupling or quick relief coupling are oftenly used.

The QRC name itself describe it is very fast for connecting and disconnected the couplers as per requirements.

The quick release coupling consisting of two parts,

1. Female couplers
2. Male couplers

1. Female coupler:-

What is the full form of q r c in mechanical engineering?
Female coupler

The location of female coupler are in back side of the tractors.
Female coupler is just like a gas cylinder in house.
This coupler is connected to the hydraulic oil tank. That hydraulic oil is used to host the dumping trailer.
This is used in powertrac  tractors. Due to rigid connection of female coupler with tractor it is always going with tractors.

2. Male coupler:-

What is the full form of q r c in mechanical engineering?
Male coupler

The male coupler are connected in the dump trailer or dumping trailer.
Dumping trailer having pipe to passage the hydraulic fluid or oil with the help of male coupler.

Hydraulic trailers use the pressure connecting pipe for lifting the dumping trailer.
To lift the dumping trailer the connection required between male coupler and female coupler for passage hydraulic oil from oil tank to the dumping trailer.
With the help of hydraulic oil by creating pressure the lifting of dumping trailer is possible.
The male coupler is always going with the dumping trailers.

Connection and disconnection of couplers:-

To performing the operation there must be connection between two couplers that is male coupler and female coupler.

To connecting the two couplers moving the sleeve in backward direction and by applying the pressure to the coupler that would help to connect the two couplers to perform the various operations as per required.
It gives easy lock and unlock system so that time required for connection is very less.

Operation performs :-

 Lift , Hold and Unlift.

With the help of quick release coupling (QRC) the three operations performed that is lift hold and unlift.

Lift:-

To uplift the dumping trailer use the external circuit levers that are called red liver.
The location of liver right side of the tractor drivers. Oil is transferring after connection between male and female couplers.

For lifting dumping trailer slowly press the Red lever in forward direction or away from dumping trailer.

Hold:-

To make dumping trailers stable or holding dumping trailer at sustainable height the position of the liver are changing.
For hold the dumping trailer slowly press the lever in in backward direction or towards the dumping trailer.

Unlift:-

To perform the un lift operation in a dumping trailer moving the red liver in centre position.
By performing this operation the dumping
 trailer comes slowly slowly down.

Material use :-

For quick release coupling QRC material having high strength, maximum sturdiness, with high corrosion resistance required.

By filtering above properties some of the material used for quick release coupling QRC as follows.

Materials:- Carbon steel, stainless steel, mild steel, brass etc.

Size and cost of quick release coupling (QRC) :-

The quick release coupling (QRC) are available in various sizes as per the requirement of its application.

Example of Size:- 1/4" (20) , 1/2" (40) , 3/8" (30).

Plug - 20 PF
SET - 20 SP
SOCKET - 20 SF

Cost :-

The quick release coupling QRC costing starting from 10 $. Nearly 750 indian rupees as per size cost is increases.

Uses of steel in mechanical engineering

Uses of steel in mechanical engineering

The Mechanical engineering, is plays very crucial roles in the today's Technology that Assist you to do much things with ease, so let's learn about Concept  Uses of steel in mechanical engineering that would helps to standardize our society.

Uses of steel in mechanical engineering:-

Steel the most use material application of mechanical engineering. And the selection of the appropriate steels is most important part.

Variety of steel having various applications in all sectors.
Selection of the steel is totally depend on the application of the steel.

The most important properties of steel are ductility and malleability
Some other important properties of steel are tensile strength, fatigue, toughness elasticity etc.

Following are some sector  their uses of steel in mechanical engineering:-

Mechanical engineering steel are used in many sectors, Following are some important sectors:-

1. Railway sector
2. Agriculture sector
3. Automobile sector
4. Oil and gas industrial sector
5. Marine sector or shipbuilding sector
6. Wind turbine sector
7. Weapons and defence sector

Let's look overview of all the sectors:-

1. Railway sector.

The important uses of steel is in railway for railway track
Railway track I beam is made up of hot rolled steel.
Railway track consists of very high stresses so that used of the steel having high strength.
Earlier cast iron used but the steel is stronger material than cast iron.

2. Agriculture sector.

The steel slag is used in agriculture. The steel slag having some nutrients for the plants and it is also used as silicate fertilizer that would be capable of providing silicon to the plants.

Steel are used in many equipments of the agriculture sector. Such equipment as tractors, cropping equipments, sugarcane machinery equipments etc.

3. Automobile sector.

One of the major sector of use steel is an automobile sector. The automobile sector steel are used for various applications.

For manufacturing of the vehicle advanced high strength steel (AHSS) are used.
For designed the body  of a vehicle the factor consideration such as light weight of the body, high strength of the body, safety consideration and fuel economy.
All this factors are covered in advanced high strength steel (AHSS)

4. Oil and gas industrial sector.

The most important material used for oil and gas industry is stainless steel. It is used in gas and oil industry for operating and extracting methodology.

For gas refineries and installation stainless steel are used.
The oil pipelines consists of low carbon steel having 12 to 15% of chromium to sustain the pipe from high temperature oil.

5. Ship-building or marine sector.

The plain carbon steel and mild steel are most commonly used steel for the shipbuilding. That both steel containing the variety of properties that makes them suitable properties for Marine engineering.

The high yield strength and tensile strength are the Main properties.

Duplex stainless steel is having increasing frequency of application in the shipbuilding sector.
Due to its high yield strength and corrosive resistance properties give them the importance.

6. Wind turbine sector.

The most used material for the wind turbine is steel. The steel having high yield strength and tensile strength suitable for wind turbine.

Joto variety of chemical composition in a steel that increases corrosion resistance property of the steel against the environmental wind turbine experienced.

7. Weapons and defense sector.

The wide range of steel are used in defence sector.
Foundation base of the steel used in manufacturing of guns. The high carbon steel and heat treated steel are used for manufacturing of guns. High carbon steel used because of low weight.

Steel are also used for gun barrels. The most standard use of steel is in a gun barrel that offers very low cost and gives high balancing in strength.
Strings are also mostly used in manufacturing of tanks, air missiles in strikers etc.
